- Search the seller name for recent reviews
- Search the item name + "QC" for quality control posts
- Use Google with "site:reddit.com" for better results
How to Read QC Posts
QC posts are photos that buyers receive before shipping. Look for close-up photos, comparison photos, detailed comments, and the GL/RL verdict.
GL (Green Light)
The community agrees the item looks acceptable. You can approve it for shipping. This is a go-ahead signal.
RL (Red Light)
The community finds major flaws. You should request a replacement or refund before shipping. Do not ignore RL verdicts.
How to Ask for Help
If you cannot find a post about your item, make a QC post. Include the batch name, seller name, item name, and clear photos of the areas you are concerned about.
Photo Tip
Take photos in natural daylight. Artificial lighting hides color accuracy and material flaws. The community can give better feedback with clear, well-lit photos.
How to Spot Bad Advice
- Be wary of comments that say "looks good" without explaining why.
- Look for comments from users with a history of detailed QC reviews.
- Ignore comments that are just memes or jokes.
